Can’t install Chrome on Ubuntu 11.10? Here is the solution!

Have you tried Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric? Have you tried to install Google Chrome and when you try to open it with Ubuntu Software Center it gives you this error?

Internal error

“the file google-chrome-stable_current_i386.deb can’t be opened”

The solution is really easy. Open a terminal shell, move to the folder that contains the Google Chrome .deb file and type:

sudo dpkg -i google-chrome-stable_current_i386.deb

Insert your password and wait. Chrome won’t install yet, so type

sudo apt-get install -f

and everything will be ok! Enjoy
